Agartala, August 07: In anticipation of the upcoming Independence Day celebrations, a significant meeting was conducted at the conference hall of the Department of Information and Cultural Affairs (ICA) on Monday. The meeting, chaired by Director Bimbisar Bhattacharjee, saw the participation of photojournalists who will play a crucial role in capturing and disseminating the event’s essence.
During the meeting, Director Bimbisar Bhattacharjee announced that the Independence Day program will take place on August 15 at the revered Assam Rifles Maidan. In light of the event’s significance, officials from various departments, including the Home department, were consulted to ensure a seamless experience for the photojournalists, enabling them to portray accurate news coverage through television and newspapers.
The department has also embarked on the “Mere Mitti, Mera Desh” program in conjunction with the event, reflecting the spirit of patriotism and love for the motherland. Furthermore, the “Har Ghar Tiranga” initiative is also being observed, encouraging citizens to proudly display the tricolor flag on Independence Day.
With meticulous planning and coordination, the Independence Day celebration promises to be a memorable and harmonious affair, uniting the nation in the spirit of freedom and pride.
