A a large number of TMC workers and job card holders gathered at the Netaji Indoor Stadium here since Friday in a bid to reach Delhi for the party’s scheduled
protest agitation, even after the Eastern Railway allegedly denied a request for reservation of full train to Delhi.
About 5000 job seekers of those deprived of the benefits of MGNREGA and Awas Yojana are expected to be in new Delhi where
TMC general secretary is expected to lead them in the agitation.
” (The) BJP you can throw a thousand obstacles our way, yet we will contine fighting for people’s right.
” We will not yield an inch until our MGNREGA & Awas Yojana funds are not released,” a, AITC posting on X said.
” Permission for setting up camps at Ramlila ground denied, protesting outside Krishi Bhavan denied, rally at Shri Giriraj’s Singh residence, denied,”
