There is no religion for development: CM Dr Manik Saha at blood donation camp

Agartala, October 15. The significance of blood donation, alongside various other contributions, was highlighted by the Chief Minister, Dr Manik Saha, during his speech at the inauguration of a blood donation camp organized by the BJP’s legal cell. Dr Saha called upon everyone to step forward and donate their precious blood, emphasizing how it can save lives.

The Chief Minister proposed that 1 percent of the population’s blood should be stored in blood banks, as many individuals suffer from blood deficiencies. He recognized the unique, spiritual connection between donating and receiving blood, lauding it as a noble endeavour. He further stressed that there is no room for religious divisions when it comes to development, pointing to the recent by-election results in Boxanagar and Dhanpur.

Commenting on the legal cell of the BJP, Dr. Saha acknowledged its elevated responsibilities and emphasized the importance of community transformation in advancing the state. He remarked that a united force continually strives to combat societal corruption.

Addressing the attendees, BJP state president Rajib Bhattacharjee underscored the pivotal role of transforming society in a state’s progress, describing it as the main driving force against corruption.

Throughout the camp, Chief Minister Dr. Saha and others extended their encouragement to blood donors. Men and women lawyers also actively participated in blood donation. The primary objective of the event was to ensure that there is no shortage of blood in state hospitals during the upcoming festive season, with various organizations coming together to contribute to this noble cause.
