Agartala, November 28: A dead body of a young man was discovered in a residence this morning. The deceased was found in Ashis Chowdhury’s rented house on Jaynagar Road Number 5. Local residents became aware of the incident and promptly alerted the police.

However, the cause of death remains unknown at this time. The police retrieved the body and transferred it to the hospital for a post-mortem examination. The property owner, Ashis Chowdhury, reported that Namita Dasgupta and her son Tirthankar Dasgupta had rented the house on October 11 and had been residing there. This morning, the owner and local residents contacted the police due to an unpleasant odor emanating from the house. Upon arrival, the police discovered the lifeless body of Tirthankar Dasgupta, but his mother, Namita Dasgupta, was conspicuously absent. The police have initiated an investigation into the case as an unnatural death.
