Agartala: August 18. The state level water festival is going to be held in Rudrasagar from September 04 and will continue till September 06.According to government officials, by joint initiative of Information and Cultural Affairs Department and Tripura Tourism Development Corporation Limited, the 3-day state-wide water festival will be held from September 4 which will continue till September 06 at Rudrasagar in Melaghar.
On the occasion of this 3-day water festival, state-wise Mansa Mangal competition, boating competition, swimming competition will be held. Besides, every evening cultural program will be performed on the stage with various artistes from the state and outside the state. This decision was taken in a preparatory meeting held recently at the conference hall of Melaghar Municipal Council.
The meeting held under the chairmanship of Sepahijala District Magistrate Vishwashree B, Sepahijala Zilla Parishad Sahakari Sabhadhipati Pintu Aich, Melaghar Municipal Council Chairperson Anamika Ghosh Pal (Ray), Nalchar and Mohanbhog Panchayat Samiti chairmen were present.
