MoS Pratima Bhoumik highlights central schemes at Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra in Sepahijala district

Agartala, 6th January 2024:   Union Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment Pratima Bhoumik attended a program of Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra in Bhabanipur Gram Panchayat area of Sepahijala district today. The yatra is a nationwide campaign to spread awareness and provide services related to various schemes of the central government.

Bhoumik said that the Prime Minister Narendra Modi is the guarantor for the small businessmen who can avail a loan of Rs. 1 lakh without any collateral under PM Vishwakarma scheme. She also said that Modi has made 2 lakh mothers Lakhpati in the country through self-help groups, and 10 thousand of them are from Sipahijla district. She added that ‘NaMo’ drone is providing advanced facilities to the mothers in agriculture, and they are being trained on how to use drones for fertilizing and spraying crops.

Bhoumik contrasted the present government with the previous one in Tripura, and said that the latter used to discriminate against the people who were not related to the ministers. She said that Modi considers everyone as his family and is delivering all the benefits of his government to their homes through the Modi guarantee vehicle. She urged the people to take advantage of the various schemes such as Ayushman Card, Krishak Samman Nidhi, Ujjwala Gas Yojana, Mudra Loan, Soil Health Card, Pradhan Mantri Matrubandana Yojana, Self Help Group Loan etc. from the vehicle. She also asked those who have not registered their names to do so by January 25. The program witnessed a remarkable turnout of common people.
