Agartala, 30th January 2024: Tripura Police on Tuesday has arrested one person for allegedly raping a minor girl in Ambassa on Monday night in Ambassa under Dhalai District of Tripura.
Sources said that the family of the victim minor girl has alleged that their daughter was raped in Annaram Para under Ambassa police station on Monday.
The accused person identified as Thangchi Rai Tripura of the area allegedly raped the minor girl. “The accused escaped after the incident on Monday night. Later in the night, a case was filed with the Ambassa Women Police Station by the family of the victim. Finally the information came to the police of Ambassa that the accused was in his close relative’s house in the Manu railway station area”, said Police. As usual, the police of Ambassa police station rushed and arrested his today.
Later the accused Thanchi Rai Tripura was arrested by the police and brought to Ambassa police station.
