Tripura Police hosts historic 5-KM run in commemoration of 150 years of service

Agartala, 2nd February 2024 :   As a part of the observance of 150 years of Tripura police, in a commendable display of both physical prowess and community engagement, Tripura Police organized 5-kilometer run on Friday, in various places of the state including all the districts, TSR battalion headquarters, and other units of Tripura police. In an overwhelming show of police-public cooperation, more than 11,000 people participated in the program in different parts of the state.

The event aimed to raise awareness regarding the long and memorable history of Tripura Police while strengthening the bonds between law enforcement agency and the community. A significant feature of the event was the active participation of community members. The atmosphere was charged with enthusiasm and bonhomie among the police personnel as well as community members.

The run not only underscored the physical fitness level of the police force and the participating public but also highlighted the importance of teamwork. It also served as an excellent platform for community outreach. Today’s 5 km run organized by Tripura police was not just a race but was also a celebration of fitness, unity, and community collaboration. Tripura police is thankful to all the participants for their overwhelming response to the program.
