Agartala, February 09: The Pradesh Mahila Congress has initiated a campaign to seek justice for women who have faced violence and discrimination.
On Friday, they held a program at the Pradesh Congress Bhavan, where the president of the Tripura Mahila Congress, Sharbani Ghosh Chakraborty, and other leaders addressed the gathering.
They said that the Mahila Congress stands in solidarity with the women’s movement and demands swift action against the perpetrators of crimes against women.
As a part of their campaign, they have also organized Nari Nyaya Yatra, a march for women’s rights, to raise awareness and prevent further incidents of violence against women
