Stolen bike recovered from forest at Bishalgarh, owner rejoices

Agartala, 22nd February 2024 : A bike that was stolen from the premises of GB Hospital in Agartala on February 16 was found by the police in a remote forest area of Bishalgarh on Thursday. The bike, belonging to Sajal Debnath of Jogendranagar, was handed over to him after verifying his identity and completing the legal formalities.

Debnath had lodged a complaint at the GB outpost police station after his bike, bearing the number TR-01W-9333, went missing from outside the blood bank of the hospital. The Bishalgarh police station staff traced the bike to the Mundapara forest, where it was abandoned by the thieves. A police officer said they contacted Debnath after finding his details from the bike’s number plate.

Debnath expressed his happiness and gratitude to the police for recovering his stolen bike. He said he was relieved to get back his vehicle, which he uses for his daily commute.
