PCC to hold party workers’ conference on March 6

Agartala, 28th February 2024 :  The Pradesh Congress Committee is all set to conduct a party workers’ conference on March 6th in preparation for the upcoming Lok Sabha election.

Speaking with reporters, Pradesh Congress Committee President Asish Kumar Saha stated that he chaired a meeting with all newly elected Block Presidents and District Presidents who attended the organizational meeting.

“In this meeting, we have decided to hold a party workers’ conference on March 6th. To ensure its success, leaders and workers from all frontal wings of our party will attend,” he announced.

Saha mentioned that Pradesh Congress aims to connect with the people during the Lok Sabha elections by emphasizing various issues against the ruling party.

The Pradesh Congress workers’ meeting is scheduled to take place at Agartala Town Hall on March 6th.

“We conducted a crucial meeting with the party’s district and block level presidents to ensure the success of the workers’ conference. During this meeting, the opinions of grassroots-level workers will be considered in preparation for the Lok Sabha elections”, he said. However, it is noteworthy that some activists have left the party, while others, including supporters and leaders, are joining. Political experts express concern about the Congress’s current vulnerability due to internal conflicts. There is discontent among party members with the leadership, leading to internal clan conflicts.
