Tragic road accident on national highway: Two injured

Agartala, 17th April 2024:   In a tragic accident, a vehicle went out of control and met with a catastrophic accident on the national highway, resulting in an immediate and intense conflagration. The incident took place on the route from Kailashahar to Agartala via Fatikroy, within the Bikaroy Para of Dhanvilas gram panchayat, under Chandipur assembly constituency in the Kailashahar subdivision.

The vehicle registered in West district was reportedly traveling at a high velocity when it collided with a culvert, causing it to flip and land on the adjacent property. In the aftermath of the collision, the vehicle was swiftly engulfed in flames.

The driver and the passenger, occupying the co-driver’s seat, sustained severe injuries in this unfortunate event. Emergency services were prompt in their response, rescuing the injured parties from the wreckage and facilitating their immediate transport to the nearest medical facility for urgent care.

Authorities are currently investigating the precise cause of the accident and have initiated measures to prevent such incidents in the future. The condition of the injured remains critical, and they are receiving comprehensive treatment at the hospital.
