Agartala, 29th April 2024 : The Tripura Pradesh Youth Congress once again brought attention to the issue surrounding the Tripura Cooperative Bank exam. They staged a protest in front of the Cooperative Bank premises on Monday, highlighting the grievances of many aspiring candidates.
A leader of the Pradesh Youth Congress voiced concerns regarding the logistics of the exam, emphasizing that while the date and venue for the written exam to recruit 155 candidates for the Tripura Cooperative Bank have been fixed, the chosen exam center is located in Dibrugarh, Assam. This geographical inconvenience poses a significant financial burden on local job seekers, with many having to incur expenses ranging from 10,000 to 15,000 rupees simply to participate.
In light of these challenges, the protesting youths demand immediate action from the recruitment board. Their primary demands include the cancellation of the examination center in Dibrugarh and the relocation of the exam center to Tripura itself. Additionally, they advocate for the inclusion of the PRTC as a mandatory document for the recruitment process, aiming to ease the accessibility of opportunities for all aspiring candidates within the state
