Agartala, 8th July 2024: Indrasena Reddy Nallu, Governor of Tripura, inaugurated the Silver Jubilee Annexe of Don Bosco School Agartala. The inauguration ceremony, held at the lobby of the newly constructed edifice, was graced by the presence of the school management, staff, and distinguished guests.
The new block, a testament to the school’s 25 years of excellence in education, was built by the esteemed Eureka Ikkonic Group, led by Suchismita Saha and Saisab Saha.
Designed to house the students of the Foundational Stage (Nursery to Class II), the Silver Jubilee Annexe spans 38,000 square feet and is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities that reflect modern educational needs. The amenities include classrooms with LED interactive boards, playrooms, a hall, a sick room, a separate room for support staff,
child-friendly restrooms, a lift covering all four floors, and a 50- capacity Computer Lab. The construction commenced on May 2, 2023, and was meticulously executed by Eureka Ikkonic Group, ensuring the highest standards of quality and functionality.
The new building’s design and execution highlight Eureka Ikkonic Group’s commitment to creating educational spaces that are both functional and inspiring. “Our goal was to create a space that not only serves the practical needs of the students and staff but also provides an environment that encourages learning and interaction,” said Suchismita Saha. “We are proud to have partnered with Don Bosco School on this landmark project and to contribute to the school’s legacy of educational excellence.”
The ceremony began with a grand welcome by the school’s NCC cadre and Scouts contingent, followed by the ceremonial lighting of the lamp. The Governor, in his address, lauded the efforts of the school’s Principal, Fr Sebastian Palatty, Vice Principal, Fr Dinesh
Narzary, and the entire management team. He praised the Don Bosco schools for their significant contributions to education in Tripura and encouraged them to continue their commendable work. Fr John Zosiama Sdb, the Provincial Superior of the Don Bosco Province of Shillong, and Fr Christopher Warlarpih, the Rector of Don Bosco School, also addressed the gathering, highlighting the school’s commitment to serving the educational needs of the community.
The new block not only enhances the physical infrastructure of Don Bosco School but also embodies the institution’s dedication to providing a nurturing and conducive learning environment for its young students.
