Agartala, 21st July 2024:   A youth from Ward No. 3 area of Irani Gram Panchayat in Kailashahar fell victim to a shocking case of online fraud after ordering a Bluetooth device. The victim identified as Yakub Ali recently placed an order through the Blue Road app for a Bluetooth device costing him Rs 170.

However, instead of receiving the expected gadget, Ali was dismayed to find that the package contained three pieces of rock. “I was shocked and disappointed when I opened the package and found only rocks instead of the Bluetooth device I had paid for,” Ali recounted.

Devastated by the scam, Ali decided to bring his story to the media in hopes of warning others about the fraudulent activity. “I want to ensure that no one else falls into the same trap. This kind of fraud is unacceptable, and people need to be aware,” he urged.

The incident has sparked concerns about the reliability of online shopping platforms and the need for stricter regulations to protect consumers from such deceitful practices.
