Agartala, 22nd July 2024: Three individuals were injured in a serious road accident involving a Honda Grand i10 car and a Pulsar motorcycle. The collision took place at approximately 12:30 PM on Monday on the road adjacent to the Gurupada Colony TSR Camp, Jampuijala.
The crash involved Ranjan Debbarma, the driver of the Honda Grand i10 care bearing registration number TR07E-0488 and Benjamin Debbarma, the rider of the Pulsar motorcycle bearing registration number TR07AR-5712. Reports indicate that both vehicles were traveling from Khumulwng to Jampuijala when the motorcycle ridden by Sanjib Debbarma lost control and crashed into the car.
The impact of the collision was severe. Following the crash, Benjamin Debbarma and Sanjib Debbarma were thrown onto the road. Emergency responders from Radhapur police station arrived promptly at the scene. The injured were quickly transported to Kherengbar Community Health Center.
The condition of the motorcycle rider, Sanjib Debbarma was reported as critical. Given the severity of his injuries, he was subsequently referred to GBP Hospital for advanced medical treatment.
Both Ranjan Debbarma and Sanjib Debbarma received immediate medical attention. Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances leading up to the accident.
