Agartala, 13th August 2024: Ashwini Nethralaya, a renowned eye care center, organized a free eye treatment camp at the Apna Ghar Intus Foundation in Agartala on Tuesday. The camp aimed to provide accessible eye care to the underprivileged sections of society, with a special focus on those in need of medical attention.
During the camp, free eye examinations were conducted, and medicines were provided to patients at no cost. In cases where the examination indicated the need for surgery, Ashwini Nethralaya committed to arranging free operations for those holding an Ayushman card, ensuring that financial constraints do not hinder critical medical care.
Shubojit Nath, the camp manager, expressed the organization’s commitment to continuing such initiatives in the future. “We want to stand by the common helpless people and ensure that they receive the medical attention they deserve,” he said. Nath further emphasized that Ashwini Nethralaya’s initiative is also aimed at serving cancer patients, reflecting the institution’s broader mission to provide comprehensive healthcare services.
