The arrests bring the total number of arrested suspects to six out of the seven accused.

The police conducted raids in the Gouranga Bazar and Bhairav Nagar areas on Monday night, leading to the capture of Bishu Das, Babul Das and Jagaswar Das. These individuals were presented before the Belonia court at around 12:30 PM on Tuesday, with the police seeking their remand for further investigation.

The incident dates back to the evening of July 12, when miscreants attacked Badal Shil at Chottakhala market. Amal Das, one of the accused, is already in jail custody by court order. Subsequently, the police arrested Rinku Poddar and Pradip Nama, who are also in judicial custody. With the latest arrests, only one accused remains at large.
