Agartala, 2nd November 2024:    The Tripura Students’ Federation (TISF) has brought forward a comprehensive four-point demand addressing the challenges faced by various schools and colleges in the state. A delegation of five members met with the Governor today to discuss these pressing concerns.

“There are many schools in the state, but they are unsuitable for studying,” a student leader from the organization shared with reporters. “Schools do not have single rooms, proper restrooms for girls and boys, or adequate drinking water facilities. Hence, we have put forward these four-point demands.”

The key demands presented by TISF include the establishment of libraries in every school, the implementation of a compulsory dress code for all schools, colleges, and educational institutions, and the creation of necessary infrastructure in every educational institution to support students’ academic needs.

The delegation emphasized that these improvements are essential for creating a conducive learning environment and ensuring the overall well-being of students. The Governor has assured the delegation that their demands will be taken into consideration, and steps will be taken to address these issues promptly.
