Tripura Pradesh Trinamool Student Parishad in-charge Neel Kamal Saha, student leaders Shivam Saha, Joy Das, Solanki Sengupta, Youth Trinamool Congress vice-president Mashuk Khan, Sonamura organizational district convenor Habil Mia and other leaders were present.

Neel Kamal Saha, in-charge of student council, said, “Yesterday’s incident may be the first time in the history of Sonamura where a guru has been killed by his disciples in this way. When the ABVP students asked for collection of dues, the principal prevented him, so he was killed.”

He further said, “We strongly condemn and condemn on behalf of Trinamool Chhatra Parishad because such an environment has never happened in Sonamura but this environment is starting everywhere, hands are being raised on people, their houses are being demolished, teachers are being attacked. Where is the democracy? We have informed that a proper investigation of the incident should be conducted at the earliest and strict punishment should be given to the culprits.”
