Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav: Ramprasad Paul flags off tableau exhibition

Agartala: September 23, 2022: As part of the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, a tableau exhibition was flagged off by the OBC Welfare minister Ram Prasad Paul on Friday in the premises of Other Backward Classes Welfare Department at Gurkhabasti.

Inaugurating the tableau, OBC Welfare minister Pal said, on the occasion of ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’, the Other Backward Classes Welfare department has organized this tableau display. The main purpose of displaying this tableau is to publicize about the programs undertaken for the welfare of other backward classes.

He said that all the opportunities, facilities and projects that the state government has taken for the welfare of the other backward people of the state have been highlighted through this tableau.

After the inauguration ceremony, a colorful procession has started from Gurkhabasti with decorated tableaus. Minister Paul, Director Nirmal Adhikari, Deputy Director Rupak Bhattacharya and others participated in the main part of this rally.

The rally ended in front of North Gate after processing through Colonel Choumuhani, RMS Chowmuhani, IGM Choumuhani, Fire Service Choumuhani, Battala, Paradise, Post Office, Kaman Choumuhani, Rajbari, Loknath Ashram, Women’s College, Bhuturia, etc. starting from Gurkhabasti.
