Police Week celebrations witness massive bike procession across Agartala and state

Agartala, 21st January 2025:   As part of the Police Week celebrations, a grand police procession featuring more than 300 bikes was held in Agartala. The event was organized by the state police and similar processions have taken place across various locations in the state.

The Agartala bike procession commenced at the AD Nagar police ground and concluded at Umakanta Maidan. DGP Amitabh Ranjan flagged off the procession. Additionally, a mega blood donation camp was held at the Agartala’s Arundhuti Nagar police ground, with participation from police officers and staff from various police stations in the district.

Echoing the festivities, Kamalpur police station organized a significant bike procession on Tuesday. The sub-division’s SDPO and police station OC, along with TSR jawans and various police officers, rode across the city, covering areas from the Kamalpur police station premises to Manik Bhandar Bazar, before returning to the station for the event’s conclusion.

Furthermore, the Sepahijala District Police Administration conducted a bike rally from Gokulnagar Road to Bishramganj on Tuesday morning. The rally was inaugurated by Bishalgarh Sub-Divisional Police Officer Dulal Datta, with Additional SP Rajib Sutradhar and other police officers from the district in attendance.

These processions and events underscore the unity and commitment of the police force in celebrating Police Week.
