Agartala Oct 10: Unprecedented increase in crimes across the state has left common men in panic. In a heinous act, dead body of an unknown man was dumped into a railway track after murder in Shivpur area under Belonia Police Station.
According to locals, the intention behind such an act was to escape from the pre-planned murder case.Reportedly, Monday morning at around 7.45 am locals spotted the dead body on the railway track and stopped the Agartala-Sabroom bound train. Immediately information was sent to Belonia Police Station. The train also kept standing for almost an hour.
Police of Belonia PS reached the spot, recovered the dead body and sent it to the hospital for an autopsy.Bilonia police is trying to identify the body and the surrounding area is being searched for it. Meanwhile, the news was sent to the dog squad and forensic team.
