Tributes paid on sixth death anniversary of ex-minister Dilip Sarkar

Agartala, 1st April 2025:   The sixth death anniversary of former minister and late MLA of Badharghat assembly constituency Dilip Sarkar was observed with profound respect today. A special program was held at his residence in Charipara, featuring a blood donation camp and Daridro Narayan Seva.

Countless admirers of Dilip Sarkar gathered to pay homage by offering floral tributes to his portrait. Among the attendees were MLA and Sarkar’s younger sister Mina Rani Sarkar, BJP Sadar District President Asim Bhattacharya, Deputy Mayor Manika Das Dutta, Corporators Alok Roy, Abhijit Mallick and Bapi Das, Mandal President Manish Deb and others.

Speaking at the event, MLA Mina Rani Sarkar remarked, “My brother’s life was a testament to selfless service and dedication to the people. His ideals continue to inspire us every day.”

Deputy Mayor Manika Das Datta added, “Dilip Sarkar’s contributions to the community remain unparalleled. His vision and commitment to public welfare are a guiding light for all of us.”

The program concluded with a collective pledge by attendees to uphold the values and public service ethos exemplified by the late MLA. “His sacrifice and dedication to the people of Badharghat will forever serve as a beacon of inspiration,” said BJP Sadar District President Asim Bhattacharya.
