Yogi performs Rudrabhishek, prays for universal welfare of people

 Goraksha Peethadheeshwar and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Sunday offered Rudrabhishek at Gorakhnath Temple, praying to Lord Shiva for the happiness, prosperity, and well-being of the people of the state and the entire universe.

At the Shakti Peeth located on the first floor of the Peethadheeshwar residence within the Gorakhnath Temple premises, Yogi performed the Rudrabhishek ritual by offering sacred items, including Bilva leaves, lotus flowers, Durva grass, honey, ghee, and various other puja materials to Lord Shiva. Following the offerings, the ritual was conducted with fruit juices.

The Math Purohit led the Rudrabhishek ceremony by chanting the sacred mantras of the Rudrashtadhyayi from the Shukla Yajurveda Samhita. The ritual concluded with a sacred havan.

After completing the Rudrabhishek, Yogi prayed to Lord Shiva for the welfare of the universe and wished for a healthy, happy, prosperous, and peaceful life for the people of Uttar Pradesh.
