Mega Legal Service Camp held at Rowa Class XII School

Agartala, November 06. A one-day Mega Legal Service Camp organized by the District Legal Service Authority was held at Rowa Class XII School under Panisagar sub-division on Sunday under the slogan “Hak Hamara Bi To He”.

The camp was attended by District Legal Service Authority, Dharmanagar and District Secretary Civil judge Sourav Saha, Advocate Subrata Kumar Nath of Dharmanagar Bar Association, Sub-Divisional Legal Service Committee Dharmanagar Member Secretary, civil judge cum Judicial Magistrate First Class Surabhi Shekhar, North district’s Deputy SP DIB Mihir Datta, Panisagar Nagar Panchayat Deputy Collector Dibakar Jamatia, Rowa Class XII school’s headmaster Prashanta Kumar Nath and other dignitaries.

Stalls from various departments of the sub-divisional administration participated in the one-day camp in the school premises. Officials present at the grand function held a detailed discussion on how legal assistance is provided to the general public by the Legal Services Authority. Also, a victim is invited to visit the support center of each sub-division Legal Service Authority for advice on how to get legal service authority assistance in any type of criminal case.

Not only that, a worker or the employees of any government or private department are advised to go to the Legal Service Authority’s help center to be aware of their rights. In addition, various types of administrative services are requested in one-day camps and administrative fairs. The visiting guests visited each participating stall of Brindhara Camp.

PRTC certificates were given to some of them as an exhibition on the stage of the ceremony. Tricycles were provided by three Divangyas under the initiative of DDRC, Kailashahar. Moreover, one person received a wheel chair and a walker stick for another person. Finally, the ceremony concluded with the performance of the national anthem by the joint efforts of the people present along with the guests seated on the stage.
