Malay Pit to receive Visionary Indians Award 2025 in New Delhi; Biography to be released at grand ceremony

Agartala, 16th May 2025:  Malay Pit, founder and CEO of Positive Barta is set to be honoured with the prestigious Visionary Indians Award 2025 at a grand function to be held at the Prasar Bharati Centre in New Delhi on Sunday, May 18. The event will also mark the formal release of Pit’s biography, chronicling his journey as a social entrepreneur and media reformist.

Organized by the reputed institution Golden Sparrow and sponsored by Prasar Bharati, the Visionary Indians Award recognizes individuals who have made exceptional contributions to India’s development, particularly in the areas of innovation, social service, media, and digital empowerment.

“Malay Pit has dedicated his life to empowering the underrepresented through responsible media and grassroots initiatives,” said a spokesperson for the organizing committee. “His work through Positive Barta—in promoting rural development, women entrepreneurship and digital literacy has touched countless lives across the nation.”

Peet is among a select group of honorees chosen this year, reflecting his impact as a change-maker. His media platform, Positive Barta has not only redefined journalism with a focus on constructive storytelling but also served as a vehicle for social transformation in rural India.

Adding star power to the event, celebrated Bollywood actress Poonam Dhillon will present the awards to the distinguished recipients. According to the organizers, the event will witness participation from leading innovators, public administrators, and media professionals from across the country.

Notably, Positive Barta itself is a partner in the event underlining the platform’s growing influence in shaping positive discourse. Pit’s much-anticipated biography written over several years will be unveiled during the ceremony.

“This recognition is not just a personal honor for Malay Pit but a moment of pride for everyone associated with Positive Barta. Following his recognition by the World Book of Records, this award further cements his legacy as a visionary Indian,” said a team member of the organization.
