One held with cannabis of Rs 1 crore in Tripura

Agartala: December 01. Radhanagar Battalion of 21 Sector Assam Rifles under the aegis of Inspector General Assam Rifles (East), seized 386 kg Marijuana  worth Rs 1.5 Crores from Mungiakami today.

Based on the credible information, a joint operation was  launched by Radhanagar Battalion and police personnel of  Mungiakami police station.

 The team seized 386 Kg Marijuana worth Rs. 1.5 Crores and apprehended driver named Lalan Roy alongwith a vehicle.The individual alongwith vehicle and seized Marijuana were handed over to Mungiakami PS, Dhalai district, Tripura on 01 Dec 2022  for further investigation & legal proceedings.Assam Rifles highlighted it’s commitment towards drug free society.
