Udaipur student secures 6th rank in state HS examination; Aims to become TCS officer

Agartala, 16th June 2025:   In a remarkable achievement, Trisha Das, a student of Palatana Higher Secondary School has secured the sixth rank in the state-level Higher Secondary Examination with an impressive 487 marks translating to 97.4%. She also clinched the top position in Gomati district making her family and school proud.

Trisha, daughter of Dilip Das and Chitra Shil Das, hails from the Palatana Gram Panchayat area in Udaipur subdivision. Despite financial challenges, her father, a tailor worked tirelessly to support her education. Recognizing her potential early on, her teachers were confident in her ability to excel academically. Facing economic hardships, Trisha’s family received financial and moral support from her maternal uncle and relatives, enabling her to continue her studies.

Speaking on her achievement, Trisha credited her success to her parents, uncle, school teachers, and private tutors who guided her throughout her academic journey. She aspires to pursue English Honours and dreams of becoming a Tripura Civil Service (TCS) officer in the future. Trisha expressed gratitude for the unwavering support of her loved ones and hopes to contribute to the state’s development through her accomplishments.

The news of her exceptional performance has been met with celebrations in her community, with family members and teachers acknowledging her dedication and perseverance.

Trisha Das secured a total of 487 marks achieving an outstanding 97.4% in the Higher Secondary Examination. She ranked 6th in the entire state and claimed the top position in Gomati district with her exceptional performance.

Authorities and educators have lauded her achievement, emphasizing the need to support bright students from economically challenged backgrounds. 

Trisha’s journey stands as an inspiration for students across the state, proving that determination and resilience can overcome financial obstacles and lead to academic excellence.
