Agartala, 16th June 2025: Maharaja Bir Bikram Memorial College, one of the premier educational institutions in the capital city has kicked off its undergraduate admission process from today witnessing an enthusiastic response from aspiring students.
The first phase of admissions will remain open until June 18, with the second round slated from June 21 to 25. A possible third round may follow, depending on the availability of seats, according to officials from the admission panel.
Speaking to reporters here, Dr. Sanjoy Chakraborty of MBB College confirmed that the institution has a sanctioned intake of 1,920 seats across various honours and general courses. However, he clarified that there are no immediate plans to increase the seat capacity.
Despite some technical issues with the online portal, the overall process is progressing smoothly. College authorities have advised applicants to visit the campus in person to check the merit lists and complete admission formalities.
The campus has come alive with hopeful students and their guardians, marking the beginning of a fresh academic chapter for many. College staff are working diligently to ensure that the admission process remains streamlined and accessible.
