Bangladeshi nationals held in Kailashahar

Agartala: December 03. Tripura Police has arrested one suspected Bangladeshi citizen who entered illegally in the state in Kailashahar. Police produced the Bangladeshi national in the Kailashahar court today.

 In this regard, it is known from the police that on Friday night, the people of the village has seen this person on a suspicious condition roaming in Murthycherra village panchayat area of Kailashahar. Then when the villagers asked this person, his way of talk was found to be very incoherent.

Later, local detained him and handed him to police. After a long interrogation by the police, the detained youth admitted to the police that he is a citizen of Bangladesh and entered India illegally. His name is Kamal Uddin a resident of Gonagaon area of North Adampur under Kamalganj police station of Moulvi Bazar district of Bangladesh. The OC said that a specific case has been filed with Kailasahar police station in this regard. In the last few days, 10 Bangladeshis have been arrested in Kailasahar.
