‘300 brick roads made in Bamutia assembly area’ : Pratima Bhowmik

Agartala Dec 04: “Before 2018, there was no freedom of people in the state during the communist rule. Now people have regained their freedom. Most of what was promised before the 2018 elections has been fulfilled”, said MoS Pratima Bhowmik.

Bhowmik made the statement while addressing at ‘One Night, One Mandal’ programme, launched under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The sole motto behind the program is to find out the extent to which the facilities of various central projects in the state are reaching the common people or what are the complaints of the common people.

As part of this programme, Union Minister of State Pratima Bhowmik is visiting various mandals, talking to common people.On Sunday, she participated in a padayatra from Navagram to Gandhigram market in Bamutia mandal. Thereafter she participated in a public meeting in Gandhigram market.

Public attendance at the bazaar was remarkable on Sunday. About two and a half thousand people gathered on the occasion, according to reports.

Addressing the program, MoS Pratima Bhowmik said that 300 brick roads have been made in Bamutia assembly area.She further said, “Communists used to provide government facilities on the basis of party colour. But the present BJP-led state government is helping everyone. There is no differentiation by colour, caste, religion or party. Because BJP believes in development of all and obeys the ideologies of Prime Minister Narendra Modi”.

“As per Prime Minister’s assurance, 1 lakh jobs will be provided in the country every month from October 2022 to October 2023”, said Bhowmik.Thereafter, Bhowmik went to Kamalghat market where she participated in a market meeting. Speaking there, she said that before 2018, people did not have freedom during the communist rule. Now people have regained their freedom. Most of what was promised before the elections has been fulfilled.Later, she held an organizational meeting with all the members of the Mandal, all the elected members, booth presidents at Durgabari Tea Garden Hall.
