Agartala, December 12, 2022: Advanced services with specialist doctors have been launched at Mohanpur Community Health Centre from Monday. This service will be available three days per week i.e. on Monday, Wednesday & Friday.
Medicine specialist Dr Subrata Bhowmik will see patients on Mondays, Gynaecologist Dr Shanti Kumari Debbarma on Wednesdays and Paediatrician Dr Chayan Sarkar will see patients on Fridays from 11 am to 2 pm. In total, 22 types of tests will be done free at Mohanpur Community Health Center.
After the formation of the present government, Mohanpur CSC has arranged a state-of-the-art laboratory. On Monday, Mohanpur sub-division, municipality, village panchayat and village committee citizens welcomed the new doctors in presence of Education and Law minister Ratan Lal Nath.
Addressing the launching ceremony of advanced health services, Nath said that the present government is giving more importance to health. The central government has taken an initiative to build one and a half lakh health and wellness centers across the country.
“In Tripura, 596 HWCs has already been set up. There are total of 118 primary health centres in the state. There are 1005 sub centres and all of them will be upgraded to health and wellness centres”, he added.
