The program was organized by the Department of Social Welfare and Social Education.

Minister for Youth Affairs and Sports department Tinku Roy inaugurated the event emphasizing the government’s zero-tolerance approach toward drugs. “The central and state governments are working hand in hand to eliminate this scourge. But a drug-free Tripura is only possible through united societal efforts,” the minister stated.

Highlighting the critical role of youth, Roy called upon educational institutions to lead grassroots awareness efforts. “The youth must remain alert and educate their peers about the devastating impact of substance abuse,” he said.
