Tom Cruise starrer Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One had a successful debut in India on Wednesday, earning Rs 12.3 crore.
However, on its second day, the movie’s earnings fell by 25%.
It brought in an estimated Rs 9-9.50 crore on Thursday, according to media reports.
This raises the movie’s net total box collection in India to Rs 21 crore in just two days, which is more than what many Bollywood films have been able to do.
The movie’s five-day opening weekend take in India might total Rs 60 crore, the producers hope.
The movie’s performance will be eagerly followed even if it earns $250 million in its first weekend of release because, according to the publication, its budget is $290 millio.
Dead Reckoning Part Two’s production costs were much lower because the two portions of the movie were filmed concurrently, at least in part.
