Agartala, 7th June 2025:   A road accident took place at the Salbagan area of Atharamura Hills under Mungiakami police station today leaving ten people including the driver injured. The incident took place on the Assam-Agartala National Highway when a Bolero carrying small traders collided head-on with a long-distance container lorry.

It is reported that the traders were returning to Teliamura after visiting Ambassa Bazar when their vehicle crashed into an oncoming lorry near a bend in the road. The impact severely damaged the front portion of the Bolero, causing injuries to the passengers. However, no major casualties were reported, and local sources confirmed that all injured individuals received first aid.
