Agartala, 19th March 2024:  In a distressing turn of events that has left the Debnagar community on edge, a ten-year-old boy’s disappearance remains unsolved after three harrowing days. The local police and the boy’s family are in a desperate search for any leads that could explain the sudden vanishing of the young child from the Sonamura Urmai Gram Panchayat area.

The incident took place on March 17 last, when Swapna Das, the wife of a day laborer, ventured into the nearby forest with her son, Rahul, to gather wood—a routine task that ended in an unexpected tragedy. Upon their return, Swapna was horrified to discover that Rahul was nowhere to be found. Despite retracing their steps and an exhaustive search of the area, there was no sign of the child.

Swapna’s frantic efforts to locate her son yielded no results, prompting a rush back to their home to alert the community. The news of Rahul’s disappearance quickly spread, leading to a widespread search involving local residents and family members. The collective effort, however, has yet to bring Rahul home.

With no trace of Rahul after three days, the family’s hope now lies with the police, who have been called upon to intensify the search and provide answers to the anxious family and community. The mysterious circumstances of Rahul’s disappearance have sparked concerns among the residents of Debnagar, leaving many to fear for the safety of their own children.

The police are urging anyone with information to come forward as they continue their investigation into this perplexing case. The community holds its breath, hoping for the safe return of young Rahul to his distraught family.
