16-Year-Old Student Falls Seriously Ill During Board Exam in Bishramganj

Agartala, 10th March 2026:   Devashree Dutta, a 16-year-old student from Borojla area, became seriously ill while appearing for her secondary board examination (TBSE). She suddenly experienced severe breathing difficulties, and her hands and feet turned cold.

Teachers immediately took her to Bishramganj Primary Health Centre for urgent medical attention. Devashree, a student of Chhesurimai High School, was appearing for her Bengali paper at the time. She had been attending the exam at the center of South Charilam English Medium School.

After falling ill shortly after completing one hour of the Bengali exam on Monday afternoon, her condition is now being closely monitored at Bishramganj Hospital, where she continues to receive treatment.Authorities and school officials are keeping a close watch on her recovery.
