Agartala, 11th November 2025:  In a heartbreaking road accident late last night, a 22-year-old college student lost his life after his bike collided with a parked truck in the Kameshwar area of Dharmanagar.

The deceased has been identified as Mishuk Nath, also known as Shanu, son of Ranjit Nath from Ward No. 3, Bagbasa. According to reports, the accident occurred around 1 a.m. when Mishuk was traveling from Bagbasa towards Hurua. As he was heading in the direction of Dharmanagar, his bike reportedly crashed into the rear of a stationary truck (registration no. NL01L9382) parked by the roadside.

Police suspect that Mishuk was not wearing a helmet, and the impact caused severe head injuries after his head struck the metal body of the truck.

Fire service personnel rushed to the spot and rescued him, taking him to Dharmanagar District Hospital, where doctors declared him dead on arrival.

Family members and relatives rushed to the hospital upon hearing the news. Sources revealed that Mishuk’s father had passed away earlier, and a few years ago, his elder brother also died in a similar road accident. The family’s livelihood depended largely on his mother’s meager earnings. To support the family, Mishuk worked at a decorator shop in Ganganagar, while continuing his college education.

On the night of the incident, he was reportedly on his way to Hurua, carrying repair equipment from Bimal’s Decorator Shop in Ganganagar to fix a damaged microphone at a kirtan venue. Tragically, that journey turned fatal.
