3-days Continuing Rehabilitation Education workshop at ICFAI

Agartala, February 20: The ICFAI University, Tripura has organized three days continuing Rehabilitation Education (CRE) workshop approved by Rehabilitation council of India (RCI) under the Faculty of Special Education & Rehabilitation department on the topic “Parents as Equal Partners in the Intervention Process” from Tuesday to February 22 next.

Prof.(Dr.) Biplab Halder, Vice Chancellor of the University has inaugurated the workshop. Prof.(Dr.) Halder has explained the significance of organizing CRE program for upgrading knowledge & skills of the rehabilitation professionals.

It is to be noted here that the Faculty of Special Education  of the ICFAI University Tripura is conducting CRE program for the parents, Anganwadi, Doctors, Nurses, Asha Workers, School Teachers, Special Educators and other stakeholders related to Divyangjon Children’s on regular basis for upgrading their professional knowledge & Skills in the Intervention process.

It is also providing hands on skill & training to the parents of Divyangjon through our Special Education Laboratory. About 50 numbers of rehabilitation professional have participated in the CRE program.

The program ends with the vote of thanks given by Dr. Subhasish Chatterjee, Academic Dean of the University. The entire workshop was coordinated by Dr. Silali Banerjee, Principal of Faculty of Special Education of the University.
