35 Lost Mobile Phones Recovered and Returned to Owners by West Police Station

Agartala, 10th May 2026: The West Police Station successfully recovered 35 lost mobile phones and returned them to their rightful owners in a formal handover ceremony held at the station premises.

Officer-in-Charge Rana Chatterjee, along with other police officials, personally handed over the recovered phones to the affected individuals.

According to OC Rana Chatterjee, several mobile phones had been reported missing from different parts of the city over a period of time. Following written complaints filed at the West Police Station, police launched an investigation.

Using technical assistance and digital tracking methods, the police were able to trace and recover a total of 35 mobile phones.

He added, “Complaints regarding lost mobile phones were registered at the police station from various locations. After thorough investigation, we successfully recovered 35 mobile phones and returned them to their genuine owners.”

The recovery brought relief and happiness to the citizens, who expressed gratitude and appreciation for the police initiative in helping them retrieve their lost belongings.
