Agartala, 8th April 2026:   The Amtali Police have successfully recovered 36 lost mobile handsets leveraging the advanced Central Equipment Identity Register (CEIR) portal.

This afternoon, a formal distribution program was held at the Amtali Police Station. During the event, the OC Paritosh Das accompanied by several senior police officials, personally handed over the recovered smartphones to their legitimate owners. The recipients, many of whom had lost hope of ever seeing their expensive devices again, were summoned to the station to complete the handover formalities.

Addressing the media personnel, OC Das emphasized the department’s commitment to public safety and the utility of the CEIR portal in streamlining recovery efforts. He urged citizens to promptly report lost devices to ensure they can be blocked and tracked effectively.
