Agartala: October 17. The state government has so far connected 4 lakh 3 thousand 215 houses in the rural areas of the state under piped water connection under Jal Jeevan Mission so far.
In this mission, drinking water connection has been provided to 927 houses in the state from October 1 to October 16. Out of this, 65 houses in North Tripura district, 94 in Unakoti district, 47 in Dhalai district, 13 in Khowai district, 305 in West Tripura district, 154 in Sepahijala district, 165 in Gomati district and 84 in South Tripura district have been given drinking water connection. Nodal Officer of DWS department has said this.
