4 including two women arrested from rest house near GBP Hospital

BY TC News Desk

Agartala, April 09: Flesh trade is going on all over the city with dust in the eyes of the administration. This time a complaint of flesh trade under the guise of pathology was raised against Amar Path Lab in GB Bazar area here.

In view of the complaint, the police of GBP outpost conducted a raid on Amar Bhandar Rest House and Amar Path Lab in GB Bazar area on Sunday. Two youths and two women were rescued in this operation. A bottle of beer was also recovered.

The arrested youth and women were taken to the GB outpost by the police along with a person in charge of Amar Bhandar Rest House and Amar Path Lab. One of the detained youths said that he had come to visit GB Bazar area with his lover. After coming to GB Bazar area, his lover expressed her desire to take rest. So he took a room in rent at Amar Bhandar Rest House for taking rest for some time by paying Rs 500. He also said that his girlfriend was married before and also has a child.

But there is considerable inconsistency in his words. Just as the case of renting a room for 500 rupees to rest for one or two hours and the recovery of a beer bottle does not prove the allegations of prostitution, it cannot be dismissed either because renting a room for Rs 500 to rest for a few hours is not logical with their statement.

Why did they take a bottle of beer with them if they had to rest? Many questions arose in the minds of the people present at the scene. But the experts are of the opinion that such incidents are not desirable in a civilized society.
