Agartala, January 10, 2023: The residents of Lalsingh Mura Gram Panchayat’s ward number 1 on Tuesday morning expressed their anger against the higher authorities and demanded to provide drinking water in the area immediately.
It is learned that 40 families have been deprived of water for five days in Ward No. 1 Shikaria area under Lalsingh Mura Gram Panchayat.
The local people claimed that the higher authorities are not taking any initiative to provide drinking water to the area even after repeatedly informing the Panchayat Pradhan.
Finding no other alternative, residents were forced to inform the media personnel where they have expressed their anger and demanded immediate drinking water in the area. Otherwise, the people of the area will start a larger movement in the coming days.
