45 nominations filed for BJP District Presidents, Results Tomorrow

Agartala, 19th January 2025:   As many as 45 nominations were filed today for the District Presidents of BJP, for which scrutiny has already been completed, and the results will be declared tomorrow at 2 PM. 

 Sources from the BJP said that from this morning, around 45 nominations were submitted across the state, and the scrutiny was conducted promptly.  They, however, claimed that no nominations were withdrawn.  Later, BJP spokesperson Subrata Chakraborty said the *Sangathan Parv* of BJP is underway in Tripura, as well as in other states. 

 “In Tripura, two steps have been completed after selecting Booth and Mandal Presidents. Now we are in the third phase of Sangathan Parv, which is the selection of District Presidents. For this election, maintaining all the rules of the organization, nominations were submitted today, and scrutiny was held, with the report being submitted to the State Returning Officer,” he said.  Chakraborty further stated that the election and result declaration would take place tomorrow afternoon. 

 “All the District, Mandal, and Booth-level leaders are present. In all the 10 Organizational Districts, this process is underway,” he added.  The submission of nominations was held from 12:00 PM to 01:00 PM in the respective District Offices of BJP, and the scrutiny of nominations commenced from 01:00 PM onwards. The elections and results will be declared on January 20.  The nomination forms were collected from the Designated Officer, who was present at the venue (District Office) on time, and all nominations were submitted in the prescribed format within the stipulated time.   “The decision of the Designated Officer in the scrutiny process and election results will be final,” said sources.
