4th day of Shiksha Saptah: Cultural Day celebrated in all Schools

Agartala, 25th July 2024:  Shiksha Saptah is celebrated in all schools of Tripura on 4th day of Shiksha Week as 4th year anniversary of National Education Policy-2020. Today it was the cultural day. All schools with great enthusiasm celebrated the day in a grand manner. Students exhibited their cultural skills and innovative practices. The student’s participation revealed their esthetic sense.

The kids of pre-primary section also participated in this grand eventand exhibited their cultural skill. The pre-primary students of Sukanta academy English medium H.S and primary students of Salong Mog Para English Medium H.S under Silachari Block and primary students of Algapur High School under Dharmanagar organised cultural events in a befitting manner.

Apart from Shiksha Saptah Endline Assessment is also going on in state from 23rd July. The assessment process will continue upto 26th July. Today it was the 3rd day of assessment. In this assessment students of class-III will be assessed on literacy and numeracy.

The majority of schools have completed the assessment process by today. Only the students who have any genuine problem to come to school will be assessed by tomorrow. Teachers along with observers started visiting absentee student’s home to ensure their assessment.

This practice will continue for tomorrow also. It is mentionable here that Tripura is the only state where such educational drive has been adopted for the first time.
