54 Police Officials including OCs Transferred Across Tripura

Agartala, 17th June 2025:  In a significant reshuffle at the police station level, the Tripura government on Thursday issued transfer orders for 54 Officer-in-Charges (OCs) across the state.

The list includes key changes in the capital city Agartala, particularly at four major police stations—West Agartala, East Agartala, New Capital Complex (NCC), and Amtali.Paritosh Das, previously the OC of West Agartala Police Station, has been posted to Amtali Police Station. Senior officer Inspector Rana Chatterjee, who was serving as the OC of East Agartala and is known for his professional competence, will now take over as OC of West Agartala.

Inspector Subrata Debnath, earlier posted at Jatrapur Police Station, will now serve as OC of East Agartala Police Station. Inspector Himadri Sarkar, the outgoing OC of Amtali, has been transferred to Sidhai Police Station. Prajit Malakar, who had been functioning as the in-charge of New Capital Complex Police Station, has now been appointed its OC.

In other key transfers, Swasti Das, OC of West Women Police Station, has been posted to Bishalgarh Women Police Station, replacing Shiuli Das.Tapas Das, who was the OC of Government Railway Police, has been transferred to Teliamura Police Station. Meanwhile, Sukanta Sen Chowdhury, OC of Kailashahar Police Station, has been posted to TPCB. Subir Malakar, who was serving as OC of Khowai Police Station, has been transferred to the District Intelligence Branch (DIB) in South Tripura.This reshuffle is part of the routine administrative move to enhance policing efficiency and operational readiness across Tripura.
