Agartala, 7th December 2025: The Swachh Bharat Abhiyan was organized in front of the Kunjaban Market Complex under the initiative of the 6-Agartala Mandal. The program was attended by Sadar (Urban) District President Asim Bhattacharjee, 6-Agartala Mandal President Tapan Bhattacharjee, and North Zone Chairman of Agartala Municipal Corporation, Pradip Chanda and others.
Highlighting the importance of the cleanliness drive, District President Asim Bhattacharjee said, “Mahatma Gandhi envisioned a clean India, and today the Prime Minister has taken firm steps to realize that dream. To make this initiative successful, every citizen must come forward and actively participate.”
He further emphasized that the primary goal of the campaign is to transform the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan into a mass movement, ensuring a cleaner and healthier environment for all.
