Agartala, 30th April 2026 : A pall of anxiety has gripped a family in Salema Dabbari under Kamalpur subdivision, as 65-year-old Namita Das has been missing for the past 26 days. On the morning of July 4, she left home without informing anyone and has not returned since.
According to family sources, Namita Das walked out around 9 a.m. that day. Despite extensive searches by relatives and visits to possible locations, no trace of her has been found. Her husband, Nripendra Das, lodged a missing diary at Kachuchhara Police Station on July 23, but even after police intervention, her whereabouts remain unknown.
The prolonged absence has left the family devastated, with Nripendra Das emotionally shattered. In desperation, he has turned to the media, appealing to the public for assistance. He urged that anyone with information about Namita Das should immediately inform the family or contact the nearest police station.
The family continues to wait with hope, praying for Namita’s safe return.
